What is the first session like?

In the first session we will get to know each other. I will tell you about myself as therapist and you will tell me about yourself. We will work together to develop goals that guide our sessions and help you overcome your challenges.

What kinds of challenges do you work with?

I have experience working with depression, anxiety, relationships, stress, burnout, trauma (I am EMDR trained), grief, spirituality, life transitions, and more. I am affirming of and have worked with the lgbtqia+ community. If you’d like to know if I can help you please reach out.

Do you accept insurance?

I accept Optum (Oscar Health, United Healthcare, Oxford), Carelon, Cigna, and Aetna.

What if I don’t have insurance?

I charge $120 out of pocket. I also offer a sliding scale to those who may not be able to afford the out of pocket cost.
